CCNP Security certification empowers you to become a cybersecurity expert! In this exciting certification, you’ll learn how to stay one step ahead of ever-changing online threats and protect networks and data like a pro. To do this, you need to know about enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, assurance, security, and automation. First, you’ll take the SCOR exam to prove your smarts in these areas. Then, you get to pick a special exam to show off your super skills. Once you crack both exams, you will earn the CCNP Security certification.

To achieve new CCNP Security certification, the candidate will have to pass not more than 2 exams. Any additional specializations are most welcome but the candidate needs to pass a core exam and one of the concentration exam options available in the respective track. Besides CCNP Security core exam also acts as qualifying criteria for attempting CCIE Security Lab exam.
CCNA is no longer a qualifying criterion for attempting CCNP Security. Candidates can straight away appear for CCNP Security examinations provided they have the necessary knowledge and grasp of the practical application of the knowhow.
To earn CCNP Security certification, candidates need to pass core exam which covers core enterprise technology and one concentration exam of his/her choice based on his/her technical area of focus or job role requirement.

- 300-710 – Securing Networks with Cisco Firepower Next-Generation Firewall (SNCF v1.1)

- 300-720 – Securing Email with Cisco Email Security Appliance (SESA v1.1)
- 300-725 – Securing the Web with Cisco Web Security Appliance (SWSA v1.1)
- 300-730 – Implementing Secure Solutions with Virtual Private Networks (SVPN v1.1)
- 300-735 – Implementing Automation for Cisco Security Solutions (SAUI v1.1)
- 300-740 – Designing and Implementing Secure Cloud Access for Users and Endpoints (SCAZT v1.0) (NEW EXAM)
The last date to test for the current exams is July 19, 2023. Candidates can expect to be tested on the new exam material starting July 20, 2023.
